Using Our Facility


Earthtenders' facilites rules are as follows:

Items Accepted:

  • Leaves and grass clippings
  • Garden and house plants, and garden trimmings
  • Pine needles, pine cones and acorns
  • Minor brush: twigs, sticks, etc., of less than 2” diameter and 3' long -- NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Manure and animal bedding (by special arrangement with facility)

Items may be brought in any type of container, and emptied by resident into receiving area. All materials MUST be free from trash, such as candy wrappers, cigarette butts, plant labels and pots, and all other non-yard waste debris.

 

NOT Accepted:

  • Bark mulch
  • Gravel, sand and rocks
  • Shrubs, trees, stumps, or any wood items larger than defined above
  • Pet waste

Additionally, NH DES rules dictate we cannot accept septage, household trash, hazardous wastes, or anything not specifically stated under “accepted” items.

**As a privately-owned facility, Earthtenders reserves the right to refuse service or materials at any time deemed necessary by its licensed facility operator.


Hours of Operation: (open mid-April thru 30 November)

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-3pm;
  • Saturdays 10am-1pm

Being an entirely outdoor facility, we are closed during heavy rain, snow or thunderstorms.

It is against State and Federal laws to enter facility and/or leave materials while facility is closed. Violators will be prosecuted.
